Topic: New Sony Vaio does not even see my ff400

I have read all the links I could find but I couldnt find one where the vaio didnt even recognize the ff400 I bought a TI express card and I know people are having trouble but mine doesnt even see the ff The express card is working and I installed legacy drivers and set everything to performance but in device mngr it says :unknown device Thanks forany help you can give  Dave PS the ff400 works fine on my tower with no problems(xp on tower and win7 64bit on vaio)

"Unknown Device" is the FF400. Right click this entry and select "Update Driver" to start the installer.

Thank you for your answer Ive done that several times and it says cannot find driver I downloaded latest on my laptop and also have the instalation disk I have uninstalled the device and restarted computer Not sure what Im doing wrong Dave

Got it I had to direct windows to the exact location Now i will see if I can get it to work as Ive read many people having problems Thanks again  Dave
