Topic: HDSPe and Windows 7 64bit

Is all good with the HDSPe pci-e card and Windows 7 64bit on the Intel i7 x58 platform? Anybody having any issues still?
I've read about some problems. I have to make sure my card is revision 1.6 correct?
I'll be getting either a Gigabyte GA-x58a-udr3 or Asus p6x58d-e mobo.
Thanks

Re: HDSPe and Windows 7 64bit

Anything on this? Was this only on the Intel x58 board. I purchased the Asus p6x58d-e. Anyone using this board on windows 7 64bit? Would love to know all is good before I plunk down another $850 to replace my old Hammerfall 9652 that will never be seeing 64bit drivers yikes(

Re: HDSPe and Windows 7 64bit

The Intel DX58SO has compatibility issues with a lot of different PCIe cards. Other than this specific board, there is no general incompatibility with X58 chipset motherboards.

HDSP PCI Rev 1.7 or greater is recommended for best compatibility with current motherboards, there is nothing like this to be concerned about for the PCIe version (HDSPe PCI).
