I have ordered Fractal Audio Axe-Fx and I was going to use Fireface 800 to update the firmware and then I saw this in Fractal forum:
Warning from Fractal Audio:
"Warning: Do not attempt to update firmware using an RME FireFace 800 MIDI adapter. There is a known issue with this adapter that causes corruption of the MIDI data and may render your unit inoperable."
Is RME going to do anything to cure this problem?
Then I saw that Fireface 400 is working great for updating. What's the difference in midi between 400 and 800?
