Topic: Losing sync FF400? RME warranty?

Hi,
My fireface 400 is losing sync from time to time(every ~15min) on my main computer(TI chipset), and its distorting/8bit-like audio from time to time on other computers(not losing sync), i have to restart the sound card and then it works again.
This problem appeared two weeks ago when i changed my pc case, it seems that it broke something on my fireface since i have problems on others computers too.
I tried with another PCI firewire card(TI) and it’s the same problem sad


I bought my fireface in 2007 and it’s not under warranty anymore, can i expect something from RME or do i have to buy another card?
Who do i need to contact ? RME support directly?

We can certainly have a look at the unit and repair it if there is a problem. Please send it in through your retailer or local distributor, then you will get a quote before the repair.

Can i send it directly to you, or do i have to send it first to SCV(i live in france) ?
