Hi just formatted my hard drive to a Windows XP SP3
RME 400 lights up fine once plugged in but does not get detected on device manager, and no pop ups appear for the add new device.
I have added a fire wire card due to mother board not having one but could not find the drivers as they were not provided to me when it was bought. Could this be the problem, although when the rme is plugged into the pci card the powers up perfectly with only the red led light appearing.
