Topic: Raydat Windows 7 Installation

Hi,

I have been using the following setup for the past 2 years and it has been flawless in operation.

OS - Win XP Pro service pack 3.
Ram - Corsair TwinX 4GB DDR3 1333
CPU - Q9650 Quadcore CPU    369.89
Mobo - DP45SG P45 MOBO
Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 3400

DSP - 1 x UAD 2 DUO, 2 X UAD 1 cards.
Focusrite Liquid mix.

Raydat Hardware version 11 driver 28/05/09 ver 3.085
Cubase 5.

I decided to move up to windows 7 64 bit and installed a new hard drive and installed the OS and latest updates which all went smooth and operated fine prior to installing Raydat.

I inserted the Raydat card as per the following procedure http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7348
and installed the latest drivers.

On clicking the Hammerfall system tray icon, nothing happened. On rebooting the system the device had removed itself from the device manager.
Tried to reboot again and system froze.
Tried reinstalling a couple of times but same problem.

The OS and pc boots up and operates OK without the Raydat installed.

Tried the card in the other available PCIe slot but still the same problem.
Switched back to my windows xp boot disk and all operates perfectly as before which tells me that all the hardware is ok.

Are there any compatibility problems that i am not aware of or any other suggestions to resolve this ?

Regards
Colin.:-)
