Topic: Digicheck output mac

So its been years now. I'm wondering when RME is going to make a proper Digicheck that can monitor an accurate output signal of the RME device without loopback. Loopback wouldn't be a problem if it measured the actual dB's of the signal, and not just the volume level of the device. What if I want a true accurate PEAK level? I can't have it because the loopback feature only provides a feedback signal.

See post # 18 in this thread. That said, there is no "feedback signal", and there is nothing wrong with measuring the loopback signal

The RMS is not accurate!!! you can't even use it for mastering...
