Hello

I have just acquired a FF800, and am only just getting into computer based recording so I need a little help.

I am running the FF on windows 7, 64bt running Cubase 6.   I have worked out the ASIO on Cubase and I can hear through the headphone output on the front of the FF but no output to my monitor amp! Where do the plug in ?? (I put it out of the output 1 and 2 on the back but no sound???)

Secondly when I had a mic in input 7 of the FF (XLR 48v phantom on) I could hear myself but it sounded like there was a compressor on and very noisy.

What I want is to record and playback, generally with only two but up to four inputs, output to monitors and to headphones for control room and for the performer.
Also how do I setup the FF pre-sets and mixer on windows do they make a difference when connected to Cubase??
