Hi,

I have a RME RPM interface that I use on my mac via an express card.
I recently changed my power supply as the old one broke down.

Today when I plug in the new power supply and connect the interface to my mac computer, it powers up, however the host "error" light keeps blinking red irregularly and sometimes midi out blinks yellow. In the hdsp mixer display, all channels shows a varying sound level (most probably "electric" noise) and no sound comes out of the interface. When I use it with my dj mixing programme (traktor) the PRM interface seems to act like a midi interface sending simultaneous and random signals to the programme : browsing through the collection, volume turned up then down, effects on / off etc ... There is also a clicking noise coming from the interface itself, as if it is turning on and off all the time.

I really don't know what to do with my interface. Should I take it to be repaired ? Is it maybe the new power supply ? Do I need to change something within the Hdsp programme ?

I don't know where to start so any help would be much appreciated.
