Topic: Clicks and Pops on FF800

Hi guys. Quick question. I have the FF800 connected to a HD24XR. When I connect the digital out toslink cable from the FF800 into the HD24XR'S adat in port, I hear clicks and pops on the digital channels. I have both units set to the same HZ frequency. Does anybody know how to get rid of these clicks and pops. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I have the ADAT1 Out port connected to the ADAT Optical 1-8 In port on the HD24XR. Also, I have the ADAT 1 In port and the ADAT 2 In port on the FF800 connected to the ADAT Optical 1-8 Out port and ADAT Optical 9-16 Out port on the HD24XR.  This is the only way (digitally) that they are connected. Should I connect them via the Word Clock (BNC) connectors as well?

Make sure only one device uses internal clock, all others must slave to it.
