Topic: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

Dear Team,

i wanna use your ADI-2 as D/A-Converter and as Volume Controller connected to RL 901K.

Is the Volume Control-Unit digital or analogue?

How accurate is the "Pegelsteller Gleichlauf" in dB?

Thank you.

Marc

Re: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

Please dear RME-team,

can you answer my question above? Because i did not find any technical data to this in the pdf-papers.

Thank you!

Kind regards

Marc

Re: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

From the manual it looks like it's analog.

Re: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

When it is analog, this question is even more interesting:

"How accurate is the "Pegelsteller Gleichlauf" in dB?"

RME, please help to answer!

THANK YOU!

Re: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

I guess it's not that accurate as other dedicated controllers. Just a question of money I think ...

Re: ADI-2 Volume Control / ME-Geithain

For example: "Pegelsteller Gleichlauf L < > R (+0..-40 dB):. < ± 0,5 dB" (copied from: http://www.funk-tonstudiotechnik.de/LAP … hriebe.pdf )

"How accurate is the "Pegelsteller Gleichlauf" in dB?"

RME, please help to answer!

THANK YOU!

Marc

A pity that nobody of RME is answering. :-(

Kind regards

Nobody of the RME-people can or wanna give details?

This is really poor.
