Topic: Mac Notebook an Multiface

Hi Guys!

Ich have a Microsoft PC und PCI-Card and want to know if it is possible to use
the PCMCIA-Card from the Multiface with a Mac-Book, because my studiopartner want to use the Multiface parallel?

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't have a pcmcia slot. afaik only the mac book pros have a slot, and it's a pcie slot not cardbus.

Thanks! Is there an adapter possible?
Or, if i sold my Multiface. Is it possible to use the Fireface
and connect it to twice computers? Mac and Windows PC?
It`s clear, that only one is always in use

Some people have had success with adapters but more have had a whole lot of trouble!!!

In theory for sure. However you'll want to check the chipsets on both machines. You really need to have a TI firewire chipset. If you are using an adapter then the slot and the adapter both need to be TI as well.

You should try searching the forum for other users with your model of computers.
