Topic: UFX: connect my ext. preamp to front or to back?

Hi!

Got my UFX yesterday and I have a question:

Should I connect my preamp (SPL Gainstation) to the front inputs (XLR) or to the line inputs on the back?
I think the signal goes through an additional amp stage on the front inputs, right?

Right, use the rear TRS inputs for line level sources.
