Topic: I-Tunes core audio channel number assignment

Hello RME Users,

I am using a MAC PRO and Snow Leopard and an RME FF800.

I am trying to get Itunes to play back on channels other than 1 and 2.
I can not find a way of changing it in Audio Midi set up.
Can anybody help please?

You do this with TotalMix. Just send it to a different hardware output.

I am sorry but I did not word my question very well.
I was actually referring to the playback channels (second row) and my question is better said:
'Is there a way of changing the playback channels (second row) that ITunes uses. Presently I can ony get Itunes to playback on channels 1 and 2. I can not find a way of changing it in Macs Audio MIDI set up.

Mac Pro, Snow Leopard, RME FF800.

Not possible, but you can use the mixer to route playback channels 1+2 to any physical output.

From your answer I assume that under Mac OS,  I-Tunes defaults to playback channels 1+2 of the FF800 and can not be changed.
