RME User Forum → FireWire & USB series → Editing Names in Mac in FF mixer?
New FF800 User - My mac G5 does not have a right click mouse and would like to know if there is a modifier key to use to edit names in fireface mixer . Manuel says to right click - but no right click available on this mouse. Tried guessing at different options with no luck, no search results either. Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
Well, you can get a 2 button mouse... or this program may do work for you:

BTW, the multitouch trackpads on the new MBPs do right-click (2 fingers).
Thanks Jeff, I don't have the MBP but an older G5 with single click mouse. I'll need to get a 2 button mouse. I would think that RME would program a a modifier key for this for MacOSX. Thanks for your quick response and by the way - loving the FF800 so far with only a couple days usage.
the new mbp's do have right click YET total mix still wont let me edit channel strip names. Is there someone out there can show me the way?

Just went through a whole bunch of time on the phone with apple. My trackpad is working correctly. I have right click function but total mix still wont let me edit channel strip names. Ideas anyone?
