Topic: Babyface + UFX on same mac?

I will soon be getting a new Mac book pro, and may end up moving the UFX to the mac for studio use as considering moving over to logic as well, however for on-the-road/live use I am thinking about getting an RME babyface in the future.

Im guessing that the drivers and totalmix etc will all be the same (unless FW driver is used with the UFX)?

Should I expect any problems with both interfaces on the same machine? Is such a combination supported?

Im not looking to run both from the same application at the same time or anything like that, just occasionally might have both connected.
The main thing is I shouldnt have any issues plugging in one or the other.

Thanks

BTW - any discounts on the babyface for UFX owners? wink

Yes, they use the same USB driver. Somebody did it already.

Even though they use the same driver, you will need to combine them into an Aggregate Device to use both together on a Mac.
