Topic: HDSP 9652 serial connector use

I'm trying to connect my focurite isaOne/digital mic pre directly to my HDSP9652 card/computer. On the focusrite I can use the 9-pin serial connector AES or Spdif for digital out signal. Can the 9-pin serial connector on 9652 be used to recceive mic signal directly to 9652? Reason, all of the adat/optical ports on 9652 are in use with my Tascam DM24. Thanks!

Use the breakout cables and connect a standard SPDIF cable between them. I doubt these 9-pin ports are pin-compatible.
