Topic: Totalmix Matrix Default Level

Hello,

Wondering if it is possible to change the Totalmix Matrix default level of 0.0 when clicking a routing box.

I need to set up 8 mono headphone mixes.  I do not want to send signals that are too hot to players by accidentally hitting a routing box sending a 0.0 signal straight to phones.  If the defauklt level could be changed so that when I click a box it comes up as maybe -16.0 that would be great.

That is not possible. You should use the TotalMix view to set up the mix, which is done by raising the fader.

Thanks for the reply Matthias,

I want to use say output A2 1+2 as two seperate mono mixes...the fader/pan view makes this a bit difficult.  The Matrix view performs this well but default starts at 0.0.

I will work around this by lowering the hardware output faders for the channels I plan on using as mono headphone mixes.
