Topic: Gigastudio 4, ff400, win7 x64 - No GSIF Drivers???

I recently upgraded from Vista 64 (under which I was running Gigastudio with ff400) to win7 64 on an Asus Maximus Formula w/h quad processor. I flashed my ff400 and installed the latest drivers. When I launch Giga it's forced in Rewire mode because "no GSIF compatible sound cards were found" in my system. Asio for the GVI (which is aged as Giga is) or for g-player is working fine. Even tried rolling back my firewire controller to legacy, still nothing... Any ideas?

GSIF is not supported anymore. You have to use an older driver to use that:

Is this the driver I would use with the UFX for Gigastudio, and will it work?

That driver is too old, it does not support the UFX. There is no GSIF support for the UFX.

Thanks for the info, I guess the FF800 was my last purchase because I want to continue with Gigastudio.
I wonder how many other guys will have this issue?
What we need is Garriton to pull finger and release something based on the technology.
