Topic: Buying a new notebook for my Fireface UC (USB3 question)

Hello,

My current laptops screen gave up, so I'm buying a new one. Most important issue deciding which computer is for it to work flawless with my Fireface UC (my only most demanding application is using Cubase).

I am leaning towards a Dell xps 15 (coming from a HP), which seems to be a powerfull notebook for a very reasonable price. It only has one usb2 and two usb3 ports. Does my FF UC work on those usb3 ports (not looking for an increase in performance, just making sure it will be compatible). My 3 standard usb devices are a mouse, usb controller keyboard and the FF UC.

Any other tips/advise on good notebooks with FF UC, running Cubase would also be greatly appreciated.

Get a mac book pro,

less latency, no viruses, less headaches generally, well priced against any other laptop with the same specs except WAY better battery life and design, this is a no contest.

I could go on or you could go buy one?
