Topic: FF400 - The device is being used by another application

Getting this error when trying to playback audio in Win7x64. I checked the default device in Windows dialog and it is set properly, but when I hit Test I get the error message. If I play something back with Windows media player (or browser, etc), I get the message. But audio does play back ok from Reaper.

I don't have any other audio devices installed and I don't have any programs open. I was playing back audio last night with no problems. Booted up this morning and had no audio, I had made no changes since last night. I shutdown the computer and FF400 and booted up and tried again, same issue...




Running latest driver and firmware.

Strange, but I did a windows update and it started working again. I was only about 3 weeks behind on updates so it's really strange that updating windows fixed it. I occasionally get either this error or a random reconfiguring of the default Windows audio device happens without my changing it, so something weird is up.
