i'm sorry to not have explained, i guess when an audio interface is Class Compliant with Mac OSX, it works on iOS devices such as iPhone, iPad, etc.
people are reporting that USB audio interfaces like M-Audio Fast Track Pro works with iOS so I'm wondering if Babyface would too

* Class compliancy supports 16-bit/48kHz 2 x 4 operation on OS X 10.3.9 and higher. Driver installation required to access more I/O.

Babyface will not work with iPad etc. as it uses it's own driver.
