Topic: Keep RME Software from starting at start-up

Hello!

I am trying to disable the automatic startup of the RME Fireface UC software on Windows XP.

When I click on settings in task bar icon, nothing happens.

The softare (mixer and USB settings) are not listed in the startup folder and as far as I can see there is no service started at bootup either.

Can you please point me in the right direction?

I looked at that software, but I am not sure it is what I am looking for. I would like to disable the software from starting up altogether. I prefer to start it when I need it only.

It is not designed to be used like that. When the programs start at boot they also configure the interface.

To get rid of the automatic start use msconfig or autoruns.

I use it for exactly that. You can both delay or stop a program from auto loading. Really great program!
