They do appear in totalmix but protools doesn't seem to recognize them.

Please be more specific about what exactly is "not recognized".

Hi,
when i create a track and want to choose an input, protools only shows me analogs 1-8, adat, aes.
But i can't see the four front micline inputs, protools acts as if they do not exist.
I tried to go to the i/o settings but they still do not appear, but I can see them in totalmix.
I'm a new UFX user and i guess there is something I do not understand...
Thanks for your answer!
Problem solved,
I had to default the i/o settings in PT!
When done PT doesn't rename the inputs so:
1-8: analogs
9-12: mic/line
13-14: AES
15-22: ADAT 1
23-30: ADAT2
How did you do that? Can you show me the steps?

you can do that in the I/O Setup of pro tools:
from the menu choose: Setup > I/O... then on the left side in the appearing window there's a button 'Default'.
