Topic: RME HDSP 9632 and PC Boot

Yesterday i noticed the following.

When i boot up my PC having my Korg Arranger's Midi Out connected to HDSP 9632 Midi In, and the keyboard is switched on before booting the pc, then the computer does not start. I get a DOS screen prompting me to select which Hardware Profile i would like to begin with.

The thing is that there is only one Hardware Profile available (named Profile 1) but even if i select it my PC wont start.

I need to disconnect Midi Out of my Korg in order for the PC to boot up.

I have 3.085 and last firmware installed.

Any suggestions?

I would download a midi analyser and see if the korg is sending any (if not a lot) of data all the time (a defective controller like a modulation wheel or pitch bend comes to mind).
