Topic: RME Fireface UC line in 5-8 in the backside

is the lines in, in the back side 5-8 a direct access to tthe converter ? i mean im using Avalon M5 pre - rme ff UC - Computer (Mac). problem is im not sure wich line in i have to use to profit maximum from the converter, in the front or the line in, in the backside ? , i think the line in in the back side has a direct access to the converter !?
