Topic: UFX Volume controls digital or digitally controlled analog?

Hi there,

I've been hunting around for this information but can't seem to find it. It's very possible I missed it, so please go easy.

My question is regarding the level controls (volume) for the main/phones output. Are they digitally controlled analog outputs or is the volume controlled digitally?

To be more "metaphorical" are they equivalent to turning down an analog trim pot where the audio level is lowered in the analog domain after D/A or is the volume lowered before D/A in the digital domain?

(Oh and placed my order anyway, as we already have analog monitor controllers... was just curious.)
