Is there any chance to have Digicheck to become R128 loudness recommendation compliant in the future ?

This would be great! The K-weighting system of metering may very well begin implementation before this is offered by RME. I'm sure the algorithm for determining averages as well as the gating for long moments of low level audio and infrequent utterances would require an entirely new module. It would be of enormous benefit though to all users if this does become a defacto international standard. I, for one, welcome our new volume overlords.

For the ITU recommendation R128 is starting used by broadcasters at 1.1.2012, I think it is getting urgend, to add this measuring function to DigiCheck!!!!
Dear people for engineering RME soft-and hardware, please help us!!!! I don't like to use for measering audio RTW or DK Audio products!

There are several freeware tools available to measure R128, so really no need to buy expensive stuff.
