Topic: HDSP + Berhinger BSF2000

Hello!

Could you please help me to resolve a problem. We have HDSP MADI card and we want to use it with Behringer BSF2000 mixer. We can conrol via BSF only 8 audio channels simultaneously, but how we can re-arrange this channels routing so the can be next to each other in HDSP interface? Is it possible without using additional devices?

See the screenshot:

Sorry, if it's a stupid question, I'm almost blond. But I really need to make it.

Thank you in advance,
Daria.

You can't. With mackie contol portocol only 8 neighboring channles are accessible. You need another device sad

sad and could you reccomend any device instead of it?

Re: HDSP + Berhinger BSF2000

Hey Dashusta,

I never tried to control the rme mixer though midi, so I do not know what is possible here, but I successfully used 3 BCF2000 with Cubase. I did not use the Mackie protocol but used the BCF2000 as a generic midi controller and this way, I was able to program the BCF2000s just exactly the way I needed them to work.

In order to painlessly programm the BCF2000, I used a nifty tool called BCManager. , which you can find here:

The programmer of this tool is very experienced with BCF2000 and he might be able to give you some advise concerning your issue.

Don't know whether this helps you with the rme mixer...
