Topic: New to FF800 - just purchased - why ADAT and SPDIF LED wave/blink ?

Why is the SPDIF, ADAT1, ADAT2 leds keep blinking in a up and down wave ? Aren't they supposed to stay steady lit ?  (I tried a unit a month ago before purchasing on brand new, but I don't recall having seen this...

If this may help : I'm linked ADAT 1 and 2 to a Yamaha 02R mixing console.   I tried to link with BNC cable, but it does the same...

HAven,T tried to record yet, but playback of tracks seems ok - don't hear noises or anything.

Yes, they should be lit steadily - else your sync setup is incorrect. Only one device can be clock master (i.e. run on internal clock), all others must sync to it. Decide which one you want to be master, and set the others up to follow...
