Hi guys,

I recently upgraded my system to

Intel Core i5-2500
Asrock P67 Extreme4
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

and now I can't install my FF800
when I switch it on windows detects new hardware and comes up with:

"Unknown device 000A3500F0CE6A9D unable to install driver"

it then shows up in device manager under 'other devices - no driver installed'

whenever I try to install the drivers manually and point windows to the folder where the drivers are, it always returns
'no drivers found'

If I click 'choose from a list of suitable drivers' it just lists a whole lot of generic drivers for cameras, external hdd's, etc.

I've tried a few different versions of drivers with no success.
and i've tried connecting the FF up with firewire 400 and firewire 800

----Just before I upgraded my computer hardware it was running perfectly, with the same version of windows
same firmware, and same drivers.
has anyone else had a similar problem?
