Topic: inserted analog effects on aux channels in Pro Tools 9 Fireface 800

Hello

My problem:
When bussing audio to a bus input on an aux channel that has external analog effects routed through (in/out) the Fireface 800 in the aux channel inserts
I get the audio coming through my speakers when all the channels (both audio and aux channels) are all the way down. There isn't any signal showing up in the master fader so the sound is getting to my speakers probably through Totalmix. How would I configure my system to get the aux channels with the analog effects on the inserts to work without getting any unwanted audio coming through the speakers?

I am monitoring out of the headphone-ch 9/10 output on the front.

GOT IT!
Remember to pull down the middle faders (software playback) in totalmix on whichever channels have effects inserted. That will prevent the audio from being sent to the speakers pre DAW. Now you can get external effects inserted on AUX channels.
