Topic: Multiface II Logic MIDI volume issue

Hi I am having an issue with Logic while using the Multiface II. Just so you know I am using a Mac Pro 2.8, 6gig RAM, Logic 9.1.3, OSX 10.6.6, Multiface II with HDSPE all updated drivers and firmware. It seems after I stop playback and press a note to edit it on a Logic MIDI synth, such as a piano, for a split second it comes out VERY LOUD and then settles immediately down to the correct volume almost like it is catching up. This happens every time after I stop the project from playback and hit a note. Any notes I play after that are at the correct volume but once I start and stop playback the same thing will happen. I have the master volume in Logic turned down to -40 db because I am playing it through large PA speakers so you can imagine the first time this happened to me I jumped out of my seat! I don't believe it is a Logic issue because when I open the project on a different computer (Macbook Pro) with a Presonus FP10 there is no issue. The Macbook is configured the same way as my Mac Pro. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Multiface II Logic MIDI volume issue

I took some video of exactly what is happening. It could very well be a Logic issue...possibly a glitch within this project itself? Too many variables to consider, just wondering if anyone else has a clue or some advice? Thanks. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WawlCrx1WuU
