Topic: What does UFL mean?

In TM Fx, where I have seen dB peak info in the manual, my outputs read UFL.
Does that mean unknown fader level?  Everything works wonderfully, but in my quest to learn how to get a mono output fader, I noticed this.

The display will read UFL (Underflow) when the input signal is digital 0 (lowest possible value) or if errors are present (invalid).
So +1 to edgehill.

I googled shortly for "rme ufl"

and the second hit is "Digital Audio Analyser RME DAM-1" and directly in the google search it says "The audio analyser RME DAM-1 is a universal measuring tool for digital audio .... The display will read UFL (Underflow) when the input signal is digital 0 ..."

so the guys here are right!

Wow, how did I miss that?!  Thanks again everyone, after reading an earlier post I was afraid there might have been something going on with my unit.   Happy to better understand.  What an awesome interface.
