I'm running a digiface with an older laptop computer, old XP OS. Don't want to touch this because it's running very smoothly. Driver is still generation 2.x.

And I'm about buying a HDSPe expresscard for a new laptop.

Question: As I strongly expect that the expresscard will only run with new FUT, new drivers: Does this also affect the digiface unit itself? Will I still be able to run the digiface in conjunction with the old PCMCIA card and 2.x drivers after having used it with the new stuff?
