Topic: Considering 9652 for my ADI-DS Converters

I have two ADI-DS converters, and I love them.  I currently am using them with a SSL/Soundscape Mixtreme 192, and I am very happy with the setup.  I want to switch to ProTools 9, and therefore I need to get off of XP.  Unfortunately, there are no drivers for my Mixtreme for either Windows 7 of Mac OSX.

So, my question is will one 9652 allow me 16 channels in and 16 channels out at the same time as my Mixtreme does?  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Re: Considering 9652 for my ADI-DS Converters

Yes, the HDSP 9652 can do 24 ch ADAT I/O at 48k or below, along with SPDIF. The newer HDSPe RayDAT (PCIe) can do 32 ch of ADAT at 48k (or 16 ch at 96k) along with SPDIF and AES/EBU.

Hi Jeff-

Sorry to sound ignorant, but does this mean I could do 24 channel in concurrently with 24 out?

Thanks for the quick response!
