Topic: RME UFX Midi with Protools 9

Hi, I recently got my UFX and have it all running in PT9 been doing some recordings already but one problem i came across was the MIDI to PT. I plugged in my Midi Controller to my UFX midi port and the light came on to show its plugged in but when I went into PT and tried to play with some midi instruments it didn't work out. It wasnt picking up any midi signals what so ever. I was wondering if anyone has a step to step guide on how to setup my midi controller with my UFX to control PT virtual instruments?

Have you tested this with other MIDI software?

yes I have. It doesnt work on my PT9 and it doesnt work in my Logic Pro either.. But when I plug back my Firewire 410 interface it works straight away.

I have this same issue. I posted about it here, on gearslutz.com and emailed RME tech support. Can't figure out how to get it working.
