Topic: anybody problem with new macbook pro 2011 ?

Hi everybody.
Is there anybody who has problem using fireface 800 with the new macbook pro 2011?
I have two firewire800 cables and noticed a strange behaviour:

- if I use "cable A" everything is ok

- if I use "cable B", which has a metal housing (I believe it's some sort of shield), often the mac doesn't see the soundcard, and the red host led doesn't turn off. Sometimes instead, oddly, everything works.
Of course cable B has ALWAYS worked with my previous macbook pro.

Any hint or similar experience?

Use cable A.  Or do you WANT life to be complicated?  :-)
