Topic: RayDat driver - only 32 bit?

Using RayDat card under Win 7 64 bit I see in task manager, there is 32 bit indication to card driver and the mixer task. Despite, there is no special driver for 64 bit OS on the RME site. Does it mean, this HDSP(e) family cards works only on 32 bit drivers?

Google will tell you that you can not use hardware under W7 64 with 32 bit drivers. The mixer is no driver, it is an application. Same for the Settings dialog.

OK, therefore that means this "*32" mark on both elements showed in task manager? I am not sure, but IMHO it indicates that they are the 32 bit processes

The driver is 64 bit, the software 32. As MC said..... There is no drawback that the software is 32 bit. It is only controlling the card.
