Topic: SPDIF on Fireface UC

Hi

I have a Fireface UC.  I want to connect to a console's optical SPDIF connectors via the optical or RCA SPDIF connectors on my Fireface UC.  Can someone tell me if the Fireface UC's RCA and optical SPDIF connectors are true 24 bit or do they dither/truncate down to 20 or 16 bit?  Any advice on the best connection would be appreciated.

No, a digital signal passed without changes. If 24 Bit goes in they go out. You can analyze any signal with DIGICheck.
