Topic: Direct USB Recording - Maximum Track Count / Recommended USB Storage

Hello.  I just purchased a Fireface UFX and I am super excited to try out the direct to USB recording feature.

I have a couple of questions:
1)  Are the audio files standard WAV/AIFF files?  Basically, wanting to find out if there's a conversion/transfer tool needed.
2)  Do we have an option of bit depth/sample rate?
3)  I believe I read somewhere that the filesystem of the USB storage needs to be FAT32.  What happens when the audio file becomes larger than 4 GB?
4)  What is the supported maximum number tracks that can be recorded directly to USB storage?
5)  Is there a list of compatible USB storage?
6)  Are there USB thumb drives that are fast enough to record 28 channels?
7)  Would a 16 GB thumb drive be large enough to record a couple of hours (at least 2 hours, no more than 4 hours) at 24 bit 44.1?  Is there a matrix guide somewhere that tells me I can record X minutes of recording time for every Y gigabyte @ Z resolution?

Sorry for the whole host of questions.  Please let me know if there's a resource online that I can be directed to that answers these questions.

Thanks in advance!

The PDF and your posts pretty much answers all my questions.

Thanks, MC.
