Is it possible to control input gain in FF400 via a channel fader in Pro Tools?

So how would one ride input gain during recording? What are the options apart from the knob on Fireface & via a mouse?

Considering gain is set in steps, I would not suggest to do so in the first place. If needed, use an analog controlled external preamp.

I would automate the track volume after the recording session, but that's just me :-)
