I have been using the Fireface 800 and 400's for years now and am extremely happy with them!
Before I had the FF's I used to use the Multiface (original) with the PCI card and the PCMCIA card. I still have the unit and am wondering whether to buy the PCMCIA Express card for it. I use a Macbook Pro i7 and am trying to figure out what the advantages are (Despite Mic Pre's).

I want to possibly purchase either a new Babyface, or FF400. They seem good value considering the technology etc. The Express Card still seems rather expensive. Why is this? Is it because the latency is sooooo low? Will this card by far be better with the Multiface than a FF400/800 or Babyface? A new Express Card is about $440 Australian. A Babyface is about $700.

Can someone shed some light on whether I should hang on to the Multiface, or just get rid of it on ebay......(With the PCI and PCMCIA cards)
