Topic: MIDI ports blocked by power cable

Hi,

I'd like to use the MIDI connections from my FireFace 800 but they are blocked by the power cable! The power cable is not straight but makes a 90 degree turn and blocks the two midi ports. This must be a well-known problem.

I have never seen an power cable with 90 degree turn inside an RME box, are you sure it's the one that came with the FF800? Any standard IEC cable works anyway, you can find them at a computer shop.

Only if you choose a right-angled power cable!   Use a straight one.

OK. I bought the unit second hand and this was the cable it came with. I didn't know I could just use another regular IEC cable. Thanks.
