Topic: More than one FW interface

Hello,
as said in another posts, my FF800 is becoming ill and have to be repaired. I need to buy another interface to keep working and I was thinking in the FF400. I wonder if, when my FF800 comes back, is it possible to use both inetrfaces. Not via ADAT, but via FW... as interfaces. Being at that I'd like to know which interfaces can be used this way. In the FF800 manual says 2 units can be used, but I want to know about different models.

up to three units of FF800 and FF400 (any combination of these) can be used at the same time, as they share the same driver... but keep in mind that you'll have a seperate instance of totalmix for each unit - if you need to route signals between units, you still need a physical connection (be it trs or optical cables...)...

I mix in a console, so I'll route there. FF400 appeals me to use it live or when traveling. smile
