Topic: No ADAT Signal from MR816

Hi Folks,
I finally got my 9652 installed and seem to be having a problem getting ADAT signal to and from my Steinberg MR816. When I plug a mic into one of the MR's inputs I show no meters in Total Mix. I have a Behringer AD8000 also hooked up and get ADAT in and out with no problem. If I plug a Mic into one of the AD8000 inputs I get signal and the meters move when I tap on the mic.
I have the MR816 connected to ADAT3 and set to get it's clock from ADAT and Sync Check shows a steady Sync on the ADAT3 in. I'm stumped.

The MR816 digital outputs don't work in all of its modes. Better ask at the steinberg forum (or read the manual).

Thanks vinark, I think I got it sorted out. I didn't know that I had to go into the MR editor and bring the channel levels up for each of the pair of ADATs. They have them grouped in pairs. As far as I can tell this isn't mentioned in the manual.
