Topic: HDSP 9652 ADAT 1 never seems to lock or sync

I seem to have an issue with ADAT 1 on my card. I have three devices that output ADAT and none of them work in ADAT1 in port. Sometimes the ADAT 1 in Sync Check shows a solid sync status then it blinks randomly. While in use I am able to get signal in but it randomly causes a total loss of sync which makes audio drop out and my monitors get a loud crack through them.
Once I disconnect the cable from the ADAT 1 in, everything is stable and ADAT2 in and ADAT3 in remain stable and I don't have any issues.
Does anyone have ant ideas what could be causing this?

Use a different cable in ADAT1 In. Same problem - card defective.

Yes MC, I have repeatedly tried different cables. I have taken the i/o cables from the working ADAT2 or ADAT3 and plugged into ADAT1 with the bad result.
