Hi to all RME friends.

MAC PRO quad core 2.66GHz
Snow Leopard 10.6.2
FF 800 using the firewire 800 cable.
Protools 9
RME FF800 Version 2.89 Unit #4F63CB95 v2.77 Kernel Driver v2.89

Approximately every second time I turn my studio system on the FF 800 is frozen.
Input channels are all showing signal on the LED ladders but no sound.
The FF 800 is powered on as I turn on the AC power at the wall which also starts up the front end of my studio.
I then start the computer last.

When the FF 800 is frozen on start up I turn it off at its switch, wait till the application has gone from my screen, then start the FF 800 again with its own switch.
This solves the problem but I know this is not the correct way to start up the converter. It should start up before the computer.

I first posted this issue about a month ago and did not get any responses.
Can anybody help please?
