Topic: HDSP 9632 and Win 7 64 Bit

Hi,

I am using a HDSP 9632 on a HP XW8400, under XP 32 Bit without problems (drivers 324 Mai 2011). Especially changing the record samplerate from 44,1 to 96 KHz is possible.

Now I installed Windows 7 64 Bit (Dualboot, drivers 324 Mai 2011) on the same machine. Now the frequency is locked to 44,1 KHz and is not changeable, not in Cubase 6 and not in the system. Also the field for changing the samplerate in the "Hammerfall DSP Settings" dialog is greyed out.

When I try to change a cubase 6 project from 44,1 to 96 KHz appears a dialog in this way:

The ASIO Samplerate has changed:

ASIO Samplerate:      44.100 KHz     pull-up/down: off
Project Samplerate:   96.000 KHz     pull-up/down: off

Do you want to adjust the samplerate or accept different samplerates?

Whats up? Its a driver problem or a wrong system setting?

Booting XP on the same machine, the card works fine, so I dont believe in a hardware problem.

Any hints?

Hi,

I solved it in this way: I allways have an instance of digiCheck running (Ver 5.32). This App is canncelling the possibility of changing the sample rate  (I suppose, only on my system, Win 7 Prof 64 Bit ??).

If I stop DIGICheck before changing the sample rate, it works fine. On the same system starting Win XP 32 Bit (Dual Boot), I don't have this problems...
