Topic: No sound Fireface UC / Win 7 64bit (need help fast!! :( )

I've installed drivers, when i plug-in earphones through fireface port ( ch 7/8 Phones)
I hear no sound.

I can see the sound movement in the control panel/ sound, but no sound. Not from windows media player or youtube.

My computer is a intel core i7-2600k @ 3.4ghz
RAM 8gb
windows 7 64bit

Which drivers did I install? I used the guide to install on XP and used the drivers available on the website, the latest drivers for my model Fireface UC.

Drivers i downloaded: https://archiv.rme-audio.de/downloads.p … _driver_uc

But as I have no sound, and i've tried so many ways without any success.

I am wondering what the problem might be, do I need a new set of drivers like in the previous topic? If so, could you please provide me. If that's not the issue, what is and how can I get my fireface working?

You have to check if you routed the signal to the right outputs in Totalmix (the RME mixer that you can open with the systray icon).

Current: RME UCX II
Previous: Multiface > Fireface 800 > Babyface > Babyface Pro > Babyface Pro FS

Thank you for your reply!

How do i change those settings so i can route the signal to the right outputs in the totalmixer?

(I have not done this, so hopefully this is the problem.)

Upload a screenshot of your Totalmix Window. And you really should read through the manual on how to use it.

This is image of totalmix.


Where can I find a guide, only guides that was included was on the driver CD of fireface and they're all in german. I can't speak german hmm.

I only want to get the sound working so I can plug-in my midi keyboard and start making some music sad

The sound is flowing through my headset connected to fireface!

Guess next step is getting the midikeyboard to work, but i'll try that myself now and if i need help i'll ask you.

Reset the matrix to default setting wink

There has never been a RME driver CD with missing english manuals. Also this one might be useful:
